Kriega OS mounting plate for Yamaha Tenere 700
YAMAHA and GIVI pannier racks are designed for mounting aluminium housings and do not have a flat standard profile on the exhaust side. This special edition OS plate for the Yamaha Tenere 700 includes a stainless steel adapter to flatten the profile and provides a secure mounting for the OS plate so that you can fit the Kriega Soft bags.
The adapter is made of laser-cut stainless steel and is attached to the OS plate with 3 bolts and Nyloc nuts. It is attached to the top of the BMW frame with 2 aluminium clamps. The remaining 4 clamps attach the OS plate directly to the frame and provide a very strong and stable base to mount an OS case, OS adventure packs or Rotopax™ fuel or water tanks.
The Yamaha case holder on the side opposite the exhaust is flat and therefore a standard OS plate pipe fitment of 16 mm to 20 mm can be mounted on this side without any problems.
TIP: So you need this adapter for both sides, once for the exhaust side here and for the other side the normal one with the article number: 65050017UNI (is also linked again below)
